Freight Forwarding Clerk (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:
- Your Organisation und Abwicklung nationaler und internationaler Transporte:
- Planning and Monitoring of Transport Orders
- Communication with customers and service providers
- Preparation of shipping and customs documents
- Shipment Tracking and Schedule Monitoring
- Quotation Calculations and Price Negotiations
- Handling of Complaints and Claims
Your Profile:
- Completed training as a freight forwarding clerk or equivalent qualification
- Some work experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and, ideally, freight forwarding software
- Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work
- Communication Skills and Customer Focus
- Proficiency in German and English

Shipping Clerk (m/f/d) – Bulk & Chartering
Location: Hamburg

Your responsibilities:
- Organisation von Seefrachttransporten (Import/Export) im Bulk-Bereich
- Ship Chartering (Spot Charter, Time Charter)
- Negotiating freight rates and drafting charter parties
- Scheduling of Vessel Capacity and Cargo (Bulk Cargo)
- Communication with shipowners, brokers, and international partners
- Monitoring of Transportation Processes and Delivery Dates
- Processing of Demurrage, Dispatch, and Claims
- Analysis of Freight Rates and Market Trends in the Shipping Industry
Your Profile:
- Apprenticeship as a Shipping Clerk / Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (m/f/d) or equivalent
- Experience in bulk shipping, chartering, or tramp shipping
- Knowledge of the international ocean freight business
- Excellent knowledge of German and English
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Excel)
- Negotiation skills and business acumen
